Students' UNV Installation - Reminiscence by Dr. Sekar Srinivasan

Dear all greetings.  

It was an excellent day at  Adwaith thought academy coimbatore today.
The ambience was great with disciplined students and caring teachers.  The administrator madam was very humble and a pleasing personality. The principal Mrs Jayashree madam was very gentle and could make things happen in the right way.

The function started at the scheduled time and students conducted the function in a matured and diplomatic way.

After initiative ceremony badges were presented to students and teacher volunteers. 

The oath administration ceremony was very much pious and dignified due to repetition by all.
As chief guest i started presidential address. 

The goals, motto and responsibilities of UN VOLUNTEERS was explained with examples and anecdotes.
All present observed with sincerity and with real commitment to know. The response was motivating me to speak more episodes of the formation of UN GROUPS in Tamil Nadu  by Mr Azeez along with  a number of academicians educationists and other resourceful persons.   I could present with power point slides the various aspects of UN VOLUNTEERS as adopted in our group norms of course with illustrations and quotations. 
Proud smile was beaming on the faces of audience after realizing the  significance and greatness of being UNV.

After an hour and half i stopped my narrative speech and started interaction by stakeholders. 

Wonderful questions as doubts evolved from students with higher enthusiasm and it was felicitating me to elloborate furthermore. 

The smart children asked highly relevant and purposeful questions as doubts. This exhibited their real concern for being global citizens and harmonious living on this planet earth .
To be frank we have to go miles for helping the children in organizing our deeds.

Many wanted more such sessions as follow up and interested in knowing about value addition in our thoughts and actions. 

Some even asked if basic guidance will be possible for knowing about fundamental research in the field of interest by introducing reference resource persons.

One smart girl asked whether doubt clearing sessions will be arranged separately for UN VOLUNTEERS STUNDENT WING.

She further enquired wether they will be allowed to participate in collective events at state level. 

I assured them we will try our level best to incorporate all possible suggestions and circulate the members our strategies. 

Principal and staff wanted me to talk more as they felt ignited and inspired and told them more resources will be shared periodically as follow-up. 
Dr Balasubramaniam then interacted with children regarding the approaches of effective learning and the function ended with thanksgiving and National anthem. 

Really scintillating experience to one and all in exploring new challenges and domains for inculcating self confidence and identification of self skills.

Dear Students,  It is a myth that if you wake up early morning and study then you will have a bright future. It is not. You should choose your own study hours, hours when you feel total focus be it the any time out of the available 24 hours. Although some research reveals that people witness sharp concentration from around 11 pm night to 9 am morning ( maybe because during these time there are no disturbing elements around).Practice meditation. It really helps a lot. Meditation is not only about sitting with your backbone straight, hands on knees and fingers folded. Rather it can also be done just by listening to some music which brings peace to your mind or by taking a walk alone down the silent street; its magical one should definitely try.
